Skin Beauty Salad

This skin beauty salad is from the fine folks at Food Matters, slightly modified. I have removed the red onion and the suggestion of adding dill to the dressing. The arugula is high in sulfur, which cleanses the liver and skin. The radishes and cucumber are high in silica, which strengthens and moisturizes hair, skin and nails.  It is a delicious combination of ingredients with a creamy avocado dressing that makes you feel like you are bathing your insides with healthy goodness which will radiate right to your skin!

Makes 1 serving


  • 2 handfuls arugula
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 1 radish, grated
  • 1 cucumber, diced


  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tbsp raw apple cider vinegar
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp raw honey
  • 1 handful fresh cilantro and basil
  • ¼ tsp unrefined sea salt


  1. Blend dressing ingredients in blender
  2. Assemble salad ingredients, pour dressing on top
  3. Toss, serve, and enjoy!
